Political and Trade Organizations
The stamps above display the acronyms of various political and trade organizations. Virtually all of them allude to partnerships founded on political or ideological grounds. With the exception of Komsomol, the youth wing of the Soviet Communist Party, all of these organizations were of Spanish origin. Together they favored the Popular Front (Frente Popular) coalition, but individually adhered to differing (and sometimes competing) variants of anarchism, socialism, and communism.
